STK Matlab Connector Library is a bridge between Analytical Graphics, Inc.’s Systems Tool Kit (STK) and MATLAB, designed to let engineers and analysts script, automate, and scale high‑fidelity mission modeling directly from MATLAB. With this library, you can launch or attach to STK, build scenarios, configure objects, run analyses, and pull results into MATLAB for post‑processing, visualization, optimization, and reporting.

Key capabilities:

  • Control STK from MATLAB via the STK Connect/COM interface
  • Programmatically create and manage scenarios, vehicles, sensors, constellations, and constraints
  • Query STK data providers and reports for kinematics, coverage, communications, and sensor analyses (when licensed)
  • Automate trade studies, parameter sweeps, and Monte Carlo runs
  • Exchange ephemerides, attitude profiles, and geometry files between environments
  • Integrate results with MATLAB toolboxes for optimization, estimation, control design, and visualization
  • Improve repeatability with batch execution, error handling, and logging

Typical uses include satellite constellation design, communications link analysis, coverage assessments, sensor tasking, trajectory design, and mission performance evaluations across aerospace and defense programs.

Requirements: A Windows system with compatible versions of STK and MATLAB installed, plus any required STK toolkits or licenses for advanced analyses. Documentation and examples commonly include setup steps, sample scripts, and best practices to help you get started quickly.

STK Matlab Connector Library is developed by Analytical Graphics, Inc.. The most popular version of this product among our users is 1.0. The name of the program executable file is AgMatlabSetPath.exe.
